French Wines II ~ A FREE Virtual Event

May 16 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

Kevin Ostrowski, CSW, WSET3 guides our exploration of French wines from Bordeaux & the Loire Valley.

One of the most important wine regions of the world, Bordeaux is a powerhouse producer of wines of all colors, sweetness levels, and price points.  From Wine Enthusiast: In the Bordeaux terroir, diversity is found everywhere: in the land, in the people, and most of all in the wines.  Combined, these strengths make the Bordeaux region a land of limitless and most of all unique potential, like nowhere else in the world.

The 600-mile stretch of the Loire River valley and its tributaries make up the Loire wine region. Over the centuries the Loire has been the embodiment of splendor, extravagance, opulence, gastronomy, and nobility with vineyards winding through breathtaking landscapes.  To know the Loire is to fully understand how much more there is to know!  We look forward to ‘scratching Loire’s surface’ with Kevin on May 16th!

Please check back here in future weeks for additional details, as well as the Zoom link information to include you in this event!
